Titanic |
In April 1912, the largest and most luxurious passenger ship in history set sail on its first ever voyage from Southampton to New York - only to hit an iceberg just four days later and sink in the frozen waters of the Atlantic. This tragic story is at the centre of Titanic (the name of the ship itself) - and the movie is almost as huge and awe-inspiring as its subject, focusing on an illicit on-board romance between poor stowaway Jack Dawson and the wealthy Rose DeWitt (played by Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet). Grease |
‘Grease’ is the story of bad boy Danny Zuko and new girl Sandy Dumbrowski. These two iconic characters meet on a beach in 1950’s, having the time of their lives and falling in love. Danny is a cool and slick player, holding a position as leader of the ‘T-Birds’, whilst Sandy is a member of the Pink Ladies. This is a compelling story made more appealing by great characters and a wonderful romance. Grease is also appealing for all its great songs PARENTS/CARERS: Find out more about this film's classification and content here... http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classified.nsf/0/A908C4DD8984F9C4802574B80049E607? |

Alien Autopsy |
TV stars Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (aka Ant and Dec) ventured onto the big screen in this comedy in which average bloke Ray stumbles into possession of a copy of a top-secret tape of an alien that was made by the US government back in the 1940s –but when it starts to disintegrate just as he’s about to sell it, he and his equally hapless mate Gary have to try and produce a replica version themselves, complete with aged relatives and terrible special effects! Ace Ventura Pet Detective |
‘Here's a title that tells you most of what you need to know. Jim Carrey - sporting sculpted quiff and a series of lurid Hawaiian shirts - plays the animal investigator called in when the Miami's American Football team lose their mascot dolphin. The plot, and everything else in the film, exists mainly so that Carrey can stretch his rubbery face to the very limits and do as many silly voices as possible. It's a smartly dumb comedy that is every bit as daft as it needs to be to stay consistently funny.
