32 hours per week, term time only. Required from September 2010 until 31/8/11

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students who have special educational needs. Applicants should ideally have experience of supporting young people at KS3 and KS4 with special educational needs. You may also be expected to support students in Post 16.

You will work independently and with support from the SENCO to provide in-class support and to implement programmes for learning and social skills.

It is anticipated that the role will also entail providing support to students within the same class, eg at times when the designated student is being supported by others.
