It was no ordinary life for a young girl: living among scholars in the hallowed halls of Jordan College and tearing unsupervised through Oxford’s motley streets on mad quests for adventure. Not a bad film… Mrs Coulter and Lord Asriel were cast perfectly! The costumes and sets are really lavish and they followed the original storyline really well. But the film is no way near as good as the book!
